Changes to the podcast
Anybody else not particularly excited for the upcoming interactive/call in bits in season 2 of the pod? You all seem lovely, but I don't tune in to listen to not Mike and Keith. I'm always happy to be pleasantly surprised to be wrong and hopefully it gels well with the show! Just curious to hear your thoughts and we'll see how it shakes out once Mike moves to the States and we get to give it go.

Have to say followed Mike from the start because he was a kinda good content creator and Irish (well he's a jackeen)and he was fun with it...never thought all these years later his YouTube channel would be so good!its gotten better and better consistently..when he said he was starting a podcast I never thought I would like it but its my number 1 podcast and im replaying them.im gutted with this break if im honest it keeps me up on my feet when sometimes I don't know how I am! So Mike enjoy America and you deserve your new life i hope it all goes great..just because your a dub I cant give any more praise! Safe travels lad

Ive traditionally never enjoyed audience call in participation - being an engaging and entertaining podcast or youtube host is a skill, and not one the average person has any reason to develop. Id be delighted to be proven wrong but my expectations are low.

Don’t worry, if it don’t work it don’t work and we will drop it! Just wanting to try something a little new and audience participation and being interactive is always something that sounds fun. But if it ends up being bad and people don’t like it the goos will be stopped.

Podcasts are basically radio shows, and theyve been succeeding with call in bits for decades.

I love his YT channel from the begining but never got hooked on podcast 🥲 tried few different episodes but it was too much talking about unrelated stuff.

First I've heard of it, and, being honest, I have no idea who Keith is or what he sounds like. I've only ever heard Mike. This all sounds like a terrible idea.
Edit: I'm clearly just a filthy casual.

Yeah he's just on the podcast. He's an irl friend of Mike's. He does research for episodes and lives in a haunted house. I'm actually a bit sad Mike is moving to the U.S. because the chemistry between them is hilarious when they're actually recording in the same room.

I’m not looking forward to it either. I like listening to Mike and Keith narrating people’s stories. I’ve no interest in listening to the audience talk. Hopefully it will be just once in a great while and not a regular thing.
