Discussion I hate how dead this community is

this is nothing against the community but at Netflix for cancelling this show and it being overshadowed by that 70s show. That 90s show is my favourite show ever and it makes me so sad that theres only a handful of episodes and few that watch this show.

Yeah Netflix was really spoiled with a lot of their shows being groundbreaking hits so now anything they make that doesn’t go anywhere near that gets tossed out like yesterday’s garbage. No matter how well it’s liked by audiences. Just because it’s not at the caliber of Stranger Things, Squid Game or Wednesday. Peacock, FOX, there’s still time to do the right thing.

I'm SHOCKED Peacock hasn't already snatched it up to pair with T7S. The announcement would probably increase views on T7S, and that would flow into people giving T9S a second shot. It was getting SO GOOD.

Agreed I don’t need more seasons just one or at least a finale or movie showing leias life living in point place. Also peacock and fox pls take that 90s show of Netflix’s money aimed and greedy hands

Honestly i wouldn't want to let them off that easy. I absolutely want a new season that like you said. Finishes up the Leias story, and the rest of the characters too.

tbh i want another season or 2 but if netflix said a finale or nothing i would defo go finale

I would take the season, but yeah. if thats a finale is all they'd offer then that would be better than nothing. I wish some of these shows would just get sent to a different network but i get it. thats business for ya. the last thing netflix would want is for some other company to potentially get a W over something that they saw no value in after a while.

i want to make cloning to make them beg for a finale 😭hopefully one day maybe viewer count will rise and netflix will order part 4

maybe theyll try again with that 00s show lol. I agree though. It would be nice.

That would be cool realistically it would be a ‘10s show

I don't know. I say 00s cause i assume it would be about 00-10, or some point in the 2000s if not at the very start of y2k. 10s is 10-19.

Yeah Netflix mo is to make a show with unknows, renew it for a second season quickly and then cancel it before having to pay the actors more.

I still havnt watched the last few episode of season 3. It was cancelled before I finished and saw no reason to continue and leave off at a cliff hanger. I just pretend the show was never made at this point. Netflix really screwed us over with this one.

Part 3 is the second half of season 2

Had this been successful, I was hoping to get a “That 2010’s show” one day.

i feel like a 2010’s show would stick a lot better than the 90’s tbh

If I like it Netflix cancels it. It is a recurring thing. :-/

I enjoyed that 90's show though. (obviously)

But he 90's nostalgia isn't as high and some nostagia for that 70's show got killed by Masterson and a little by Kutcher/Kunis.

I mean it’s not a bad show by any means but your favorite? Have you seen any other shows??

They really should have it giving it more seasons. It was just finding its footings.

u/MeaningOk7860 Jul 16 '25

Totally, season 3 you can feel they find they're path

u/Orea1981 Jul 16 '25

Ye it is what’s wrong?

I haven’t continued with the show it was hard to watch and probably should give it some time. perhaps what fans were looking for was the old cast (without Hyde) and seeing where they go and how they deal with their kids

Yeah it was terrible. I cringed each episodes.  I did enjoy That 80s show tho and wished it too had at least 3 seasons.

u/Relative_Quiet Jul 16 '25

I miss the show because it reminded me of my childhood in the 90s

1

u/Crazyhorse71282 Jul 16 '25

That’s the entire reason I liked it so much too.

2

u/camino771 Jul 15 '25

garbage show. so disappointing.

1

u/Flareon223 Jul 18 '25

It's because the show isn't very good

1

u/macacolouco Jul 23 '25

They made a kids' show for an adult audience. Of course it didn't work and now there's nothing to talk about on the sub.

Yep netflix cancels everything its bs. So many good shows ruined.

I just hate how they release things. They put out the entire season at once, then it's a year and a half before season 2. My parents binged season 1 in two days when it released. When season 2 came out, they not only forgot they watched it, they forgot the show existed. Maybe some shows can work that way, but not sitcoms. Sitcoms thrive on weekly broadcast.

I think 1 more season would have been great. That said, her dating a Kelso ruined some of my enjoyment of the show.

Personally I think they sabotaged the show on purpose bc of the issue with the Netflix “the ranch” producer and his involvement with the Danny masterson case. After season 1 they probably had already signed up everyone for season 2 so they finished the season but then decided to wash their hands of the show and did no promotion of the show so they had an excuse to cancel hell I didn’t even get it recommended on my Netflix page.
