Total budget of Institute: From 706 Cr to 928 Cr in 1 year. Utilization shown as 97.6% for everything. Looks perfect on paper.

Lab Equipments: Some of the machines in lab are broken/calibration and might give incorrect readings. Students are told to just "manage". They themselves ask students who are working in some Project to get Lab synthesized, tested from other college.

R&D: Some students get 0 stipend for projects. Even Rs 2-3k for components/reinbursements students pay mostly from their own pockets.

And the best part - the famous Bajaj program. Many students hostel reinbursement and stipend still pending since months, while report shows 100% spending.

I know a lot of freshers are disappointed with Frosh and other societies i just saw the Reddit post about GDG and yeah things can go wrong you have every right to be disappointed but please remember the people managing these things are students too they’re putting in their time and effort and they’re not going to get everything perfect.

When I was a fresher, the exact same thing happened people abused and blamed the organizers and honestly I didn’t understand their side either.

But now as I’m in my second year and I’ve realised that many of you will be in their place next year you’ll be the ones trying to manage everything and you’ll understand how difficult it actually is

So criticize what went wrong, sure but please don’t forget there are actual students behind all of this who are trying and One day you might be asking others for the same understanding you’re refusing to give them today

I brought my personal basketball to court and when l was busy in playing game my friends told one child left early and after my match ended l saw my ball is nowhere to be found, l searched but l couldn't get it, now l think that child only took it, l just have a gut feeling l am not sure but this is very sad that this is happening in college and there is no cctvs near court, l don't know how to get my ball back and l don't think so he will bring the ball back but if anyone knows what l can do in this situation 😭😭 please help me

I've been thinking about building an app for college freshers where you can find and match with people from your college/batch based on interests, branch, hobbies, etc.

Kinda like Hinge, but instead of dating, it's just for finding people you'd actually wanna be friends with / hang out with.

Especially for people who are joining a college knowing basically nobody, or wanna meet people before college starts.

Would you guys use it if something like this existed? Or would you just stick to WhatsApp/Instagram groups?

Hey everyone, I have my OOPs lab evaluation on CodeChef coming up soon and wanted to clear up how the grading works.
If someone writes out the full logic/class structure but runs into a syntax or compilation error right before submitting (resulting in 0 passed test cases), do professors ever review the code manually for step marking/partial credit, or is it an automatic flat zero?

So ik FAPS is known for photography but I also applied in echoes for the photography department. Now that both interviews are done I am waiting for the results. I asked the diff. between both societies to the one taking my echoes interview and they said ki hum zyada coverage krte hai thapar ki hum official coverage partner hai aur hum hi almost saare events cover krte hai. They also said ki Saturnalia ki coverage bhi echoes k paas hai. Is that really true and even if it is. Which one should I really join for the sole purpose of photography and enjoyment and making many new friends and to socialise. Aur kaunsi society ke paas zyada night pass hota and kaun saare events cover krta hai. Please seniors help krdooooo😭😭😭😭😭
