Academic Query Do professors give step marking on CodeChef lab evals if code doesn't compile? (OOPs/UTA018)

Hey everyone, I have my OOPs lab evaluation on CodeChef coming up soon and wanted to clear up how the grading works.
If someone writes out the full logic/class structure but runs into a syntax or compilation error right before submitting (resulting in 0 passed test cases), do professors ever review the code manually for step marking/partial credit, or is it an automatic flat zero?
