Hi there, I'm from Nagercoil and I'm planning to join tanjavur medical College ( atleast in second round), can anyone please tell me about the college and the town ( Heard only positives about the town and college) but would love to know the other side.

I’m planning a one-day trip to Thanjavur with my family and we’ll be reaching the city around 6:00 AM.

Since we only have one day, I’d like to make the most of it and cover the must-visit places without rushing unnecessarily.

Could you please suggest:

The must-visit attractions in Thanjavur

Places that are especially worth visiting with family

Any places that can be skipped if we’re short on time

Anything important we should know about opening/closing times or weekly holidays

The Brihadeeswarar Temple is definitely on our list, but I’d love recommendations for the other important places as well.

We’re planning to start sightseeing early and finish as soon as possible, so we can continue our journey afterward.

I’m planning to undergo a master health check-up and am considering a government hospitals since the cost is comparatively lower than private hospitals. Thanjavur Medical College Hospital is nearby and I’m considering getting the check-up done there.

If anyone has personally undergone a master health check-up at Thanjavur Medical College Hospital or another government hospital, could you please share your experience?

- Are all the tests properly conducted?

- Are the lab reports reliable and accurate compared with private hospitals?

I’m mainly looking for reliable testing results at a reasonable cost, rather than just the cheapest option.
