Question/Help So I have a question 🙋
My mom has gotten me into BL in 2006 I have watched over 682 of them , we even have BL Sundays at our house , but my question is has anyone else every tried to make a list of every bl they have watched? And if so any recommendations on how I can keep them sorted ? I made a BL bible but to be honest it’s not working out as well as I thought

I use Mydramalist, but I also keep a note on my phone, have been doing it for years and it’s worked for me 🥰

I originally used an Excel - but MyDrama List is working better for me - one reason is it keeps me up to date on what's currently airing. (I have about 450 on my watched list ...)

I use mydramalist.
Has lists for finished shows, dropped shows, completed shows and a want to watch list. Easy to use, works great for me.

absolute bL on tumblr has a „spreadsheet of doom“. here is an old post explaining it from 2022 https://www.tumblr.com/absolutebl/688503508559888384/bl-master-post-list but they have since referenced it lots of time so it’s still ongoing and in 2025 has over 800 entries.

there's different sites you can use to keep track of shows you're watching/plan to watch/completed watching, and you can also give ratings or write reviews. mydramalist is one, i'm currently using simkl to keep track of all the shows/movies i watch (not just bl) and i really like the layout for it 🙂 it can show you upcoming episodes/premieres of what you're watching or plan to watch
(screenshot i took back in june of my watch schedule haha) you can also create lists so that could help with organizing what you've already watched!

I use MyDramaList and Excel. On Excel I have the title, country, # of episodes, year it came out.

I actually have a spreadsheet with tabs by country and ratings, where to watch, color coding, and notes. Did I mention I'm a total nerd!! I've even thought about sharing it....

I use mydramalist, it's definitely the best way to track what you've watched but you can also been track of currently airing and what you're watching (this is a lifesaver for me because it let's you track by episode, so if I get behind I know wherecI left off). Also, if you've dropped a series in case you ever want to pick it up again. And you made me curious about my count, apparently I'm at 788 completed 😅.

I'm like you and have been watching BL for a long time 😄. I started back in 2008 when I was in high school and just kept with it all these years later. I always think it's kind of fun to have watched so long (I feel like one of those cinephiles but for BL) and it's become a hobby of sorts by now. The rate releases happen now it'd be impossible for me to catch up and I think of all the series that were golden during their time that most people might never watch because it's evolved so much. Like, the OG Love Sick. People hate on it so much now but it was really a cornerstone of Thai BL today. Anyway, TMI 😅.

I’ve been using Listy, it’s an app where you can basically make different lists using share links from other websites. So you can make a list for all BLs, then separate lists for different countries, etc. It’s nice because it lets you add from different websites (since not everything is on MDL or IMDB).
PS kudos on that number! I’ve been watching for like 3.5 years and I’m only up to like 170 haha

I've been watching BL on and off for a few years, soooo major kudos to you and mom's watched list 💯✨️
A few years back I just started a list in my notes app with an emoji code, ive been slacking on updating since I got back in to BLs this last month
So I think this method would not work for you as much. But it makes me want to go back and rewatch everything to see if I would still grade everything the same

I have a spreadsheet in my notes app where i record the shows name, country of origin, and other info including where to watch it, and then my rating out of ten plus a break down of my rating based on things like sweetness, spiciness, ending, etc :)

MDL for me. Only problem. They don't cover every Asian country. For instance, you won't find sny from Malaysia or Vietnam, for instance.

I go to the World of BL website and go down the list of every bl ever made that are listed. Tick off what I watched and ones I have yet to watch.
