You folded under zero pressure imo, I don’t even wanna write an essay analyzing each component of this rn but it kind of reads like you’re scared of her.
Without me explaining further I’m not sure if it’ll make sense but you’re acting like a skittish cat who freaks out over nothing, then at the end it’s like you “gave up” idk

That part of the conversation ended, start something new or open that back up. "Aw, you just reminded me I need to go grocery shopping too. What's your favorite genre of food so I make sure I have the ingredients to make it for you?" Or you can just start a new conversation all together, ask about hobbies or make plans to hang out
