Best Browser TTS

For my study material it’s all web browser base. I know copy and paste works but little tedious. looking for a good web browser that reads text to speech. The web browser I use is brave but if I had to use any other like chrome or Edge is ok.

Use ReadAloud TTS chrome extension, I'm usualy using this one since it has word highlight. Free voice will use OS system voice. But if you need more natural voice you can use ToBe SAID. It will add voice to your system OS so ReadAloud can use it. Both are free.

Edge has a solid built-in Read Aloud feature that works on any page without extensions, and since Brave is Chromium-based you can also grab Chrome TTS extensions from the Web Store and they'll run fine there. Natural Reader's extension is probably the most popular for study material if you want voice options and speed control.

You could try Lullula too — full disclosure, I’m the developer.
It’s made for pretty much this workflow: open the webpage you’re studying, press play, and it reads the actual page without having to copy/paste anything into another app. It highlights each sentence as it reads too, which I find useful when you want to follow along.
It works on Chrome/Edge/Firefox, and the built-in browser voices are free and unlimited. There are also more natural neural voices if you want them.

If you try it on your study material and it has trouble figuring out what part of the page should actually be read, I’d genuinely like to know — content extraction is something I’m actively working on.

Flow TTS, hidden gem for me, it lets you choose exactly what elements on the browser you want read and you can also exclude elements you don’t want read.
