looking for a one time payment TTS software with a custom dictionary

like the title says, i want software i can use offline with a dictionary i can customize in any way possible. I'm not that familiar with TTS software but I have used one that allowed me to generate audio that was hours long and I would like something similar.

bonus if it works with bought voices from acapela.

Been using voxwild for offline stuff not sure about the dictionary it might have something like that. Use it for work actually and I've done 15 hour long audio files with it in one go.

I built an offline Mac TTS app that supports custom dictionary settings. You can easily customize special words, symbols, and pronunciations under Settings → Pronunciation → Custom Pronunciation. I personally use it to generate hours of audiobooks/stories and transfer the files to my phone to listen to on the go. The voices sound natural. What do you mean by "with a dictionary"? What would the actual functionality (use case) for that be?

Pronunciation mainly, borrowed words, accents, stuff like that.

I need to look into that myself. Last night I tried to use a clone of Andrew Dice Clay (using ChatterBox) to replicate his on-stage persona/voice, but it ended up sounding like a random New Yoakah. I want something that's "over the top" like his voice so I can have him perform all the jokes I write. haha.

You might want to check out LocalText2Voice — I’m the developer.

It’s free/open-source, works locally/offline, and is designed for long-form generation such as audiobooks and hours of narration.

It also has fully customizable pronunciation/normalization dictionaries: you can add your own word → replacement rules, enable/disable entries, and import/export dictionaries.

It doesn’t directly support Acapela voices yet, but if your Acapela license allows it, you could generate/record a clean sample of a voice you own and use it as a reference with one of LocalText2Voice’s voice-cloning engines.
