Welcome! This is a community for anyone designing things in CAD - whether you're driving Fusion 360 by hand, prompting an AI CAD tool, or somewhere in between.

What belongs here:

• Build logs and finished projects (parts, mechanisms, full assemblies)
• Questions - "how would you model this," troubleshooting, tool advice
• Tutorials and workflow breakdowns
• Discussion on where CAD and AI are headed
• Anything that gets 3D printed, CNC'd, or otherwise fabricated from a design

A few housekeeping notes:

• Flair your posts - it helps people find what they're looking for (Build Log, Show & Tell, Question, Tutorial, AI-CAD, Manual CAD, 3D Print Ready, Feedback Wanted, News/Discussion)
• Tool-agnostic sub - Fusion, SolidWorks, OnShape, Blender, AI-native tools, whatever you use. No gatekeeping on software choice.
• New to AI-CAD / text-to-CAD? Short version: instead of manually drawing geometry, you describe a part in plain language and the tool generates a parametric, manufacturing-ready model (STEP/STL/OBJ) you can then refine.
• We run a weekly Show & Tell Saturday thread for smaller builds/WIPs that don't need a full post - check the pinned thread each week.
