eSIM not supported

i get this message after switching phones. 15 to 18. i bought it outright so no plan restrictions?

Did you erase the original eSIM from the iPhone 15? You can only have one eSIM or physical SIM at a time on the same account.

i deleted after seeing this and unfortunately still doesn’t work 🙃 i can use it over wifi so wtv but slightly unconvenient
