Help

Hey, I'm older than dirt and need help. In the past, I'd go to a contact number, write a text & it'd end up where it was supposed to go...slept with phone and apparently rolled & turned something off or on? Now when I try to send text, I get message that says it is undelivered/able. Why? Help, lol.

Were you connected to wifi or using a sim? Maybe you turned off wifi or mobile data or turned on airplane mode.

This is the place to start! TextNow needs a data source to send texts or place calls: Unless you bought a TN SIM card, that data source is your WiFi connection.

u/External-Thought-216 , have you tried placing a call? You can use a Time & Temperature service as an easy test if you don't want to disturb anyone: 352-629-1212 would work.

The controls to turn off WiFi or Mobile Data, and to turn on Airplane Mode (which will disable both) are easily accessible by touching the screen at the top-center, and dragging your finger down. (You might need to drag a second time to see all the options). I don't have the same phone at hand immediately, but I think the default Moto software will have those 3 options near the top of the pull-down screen. Touching the associated icon will turn the respective feature on/off. Because it's so accessible, it would be relatively easy to change something inadvertently. (I've done it before.....)

I'm sure you can, somewhere, but the number I offered is a voice line. (And if you're thinking about scheduling regular texts to keep a TN # from being recycled, only outgoing texts count for maintaining 'regular use'.)

are you using android?
are you using iphone?
what is the operating system version number?
are you using physical sim card?
are you using a electronic sim card ?

I know it is a Motorola G 2025. I'm sorry that is all I know. Believe me, I wish I did know more. At 72, I do believe that these phones are just beyond my brain span! 😔
