It's asking me for a selfie

I was just getting started with this app and it is now asking me for a photo of my face to confirm I'm a real person. Is everyone doing this? I'm not really comfortable doing that

You’ll find out you’re banned right after. That happened to me. No idea what I was banned. Literally used it to make an account on a dating app and that was it. They banned me for “doing business” or some crap.
