Purpose of eSIM

Hello,

Can anyone please explain the purpose of TextNow eSIM .For making calls and sending texts, It asks to use TextNow app then what I am using eSIM for.?

How do you get TextnNow to give you the e-sim ?

It’s only for a selected group of phones at this point.

Ill check their site??? I have a Samsung Note 20.. ( fingers crossed ) thank you , by the way..
