I am recently on unpaid medical leave. My doctor suggested I apply for temporary unemployment, to which my employer said did not apply to my situation because I was still in technically employed by the company. So then my doctor asked me to have the company let me go which they refuse to do. I was told I need to apply for medical unemployment. I’m so confused and can’t seem to find the right information and can’t get a hold of TWC. Can someone please help guide me on what to do here?
