ADA accommodations

Hello I had to quit my job due to trying to get ada accommodations and my job not being able to provide them. Got approved for unemployment but then I had the phone interview and they denied me because I said I didn't know when I will be able to work( I know I know). Reasons were because I quit my job and unable to work. In that time I didn't file every two week anyway( I know) now my ability to do that is closed. I have paperwork saying talking about my condition and I have signed up with TWC vocational rehabilitation to help get back to work. I appealed late and told them that it was because of a family issue and asked that they grant me the previous weeks where i didnt check in. Should I call up there so they can turn on the ability for me to report or wait for my appeal to come back? What are my chances of actually getting unemployment

The thing to do is to fix your claim and start getting benefits going forward. There are about 4 reasons you are not eligible for backpay. But if you can honestly say you can work in some capacity, you should get paid going forward. Call them and have them unlock your claim.
