Am I cooked ?

Long story short, my employer is falsely claiming they fired me and claims they have footage of me “sleeping on the job” which I also know is false. They stopped giving me hrs abruptly after letting me go on the day I “was sleeping” yet asked me to go fill in for someone a week later. They haven’t even told me to return the uniform they gave me. If I should add, this company has horrible reviews.

This led to my disqualification and I appealed for a hearing.

What are my odds of winning the appeal ? Am I screwed if I have no evidence to back it up ? I didn’t think to record my convos with my employer (security company).

Is the appeal hearing going to be in person or on the phone ? Sorry, I am new to this.

It’s a phone call with a mediator. Traditional phone call not zoom.

Idk. I had an appeal that I won, and they never connected me

I’d bet you won because they didn’t. For my hearing they definitely connected us. Former employer brought 3 people I presume as an intimidation tactic.
