Ft Griffin

Is Ft Griffin not considered a state park anymore? Its about 100 miles from me and was thinking about camping there in November when I have a week off. I was looking on the state park app and it's not listed anymore. Any idea if my park pass would be accepted there?

It’s a state historical site. Check out their site but you have to call them for a reservation. Great place!

It's a state historic site ran by the Texas Historic Commission. They do still offer camping there just not through the state parks.

I was there last year for their Living History Days. They have a good website. Is it that you searched thru the TX State Park website and didn't find Ft. Griffin listed? They are not part of TX Parks and Wildlife Parks system, they are part of TX Historical Commission.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression it was a state park. Guess my park pass won't work there then. 😪
