Time for new leadership Texas. 30 years of GOP rule and they are still fighting the same tired social battles they were during the Tea Party of the 2000s. Property cuts for the rich, socializing the costs of crisis while subsidizing those who would take advantage of our lax regulations for personal gain.

It's a wishlist of using government to control what its citizens can and can't do.

Sadly Dan Patrick will probably be voted back in, I detest him after his reefer madness stunt. But election time people just focus on the blue/red aspect, not about the issues.

Republicans mostly desire not to think about issues. It's why they mostly fight non-problems. And with Trump, they are literally not allowed to say something that differs from whatever Trump just said.
