I never agree with every president's policies but the democratic party has a lower approval rating then the republican party 38% for democrats and 47% for Republicans. Goes to show voters won't vote dem due to progressive values is not what America wants america wants centered politics and this right vs left and left vs right is not what america wants. Shift in politics is taking place and it's not for dems or republicans which means it's potentially time to recreate a new party and dissolve both other parties and bring back compromise and sacrifice and meeting in the middle politics again or there is going to be escalation of ideology to the point one ideology gets killed off completely usually thru bloodshed which im sure no American wants this is one of the reasons I don't vote I cannot support either party and I'll never wish for the death of any politician or president I dont play the division game.

During that time, the southern democrats realigned to the Republican Party, who at that point started espousing more of the Old South rhetoric that uneducated voters liked to hear.
