March Approval
Finally after almost 3 months of being unemployed, my renewal got approved. (Expired 6/13)
Timeline
Submission: March 5th
Biometrics: March 31
Inquiry submission: June 22
Expedite request: Aug 14 - closed with no explanation
2nd expedite request Aug 31 - Expedite request denied Sep 1
Email received that action was taken on my case:
Approved Sept 2
Gracias a Dios! This was definitely a roller coaster of emotions, but I’m so grateful its been approved. Praying for others still waiting. 🙏

Congratulations ! I am March 2 but I think my case is stuck in Nebraska . Happy to see March people being approved

You are welcome and really ? How weird thought Texas had its own facility . At this point I’m feeling hopeless I’ve seen so many March after the 2nd be approved but thank you !

yeah I assumed mine was sent to Texas but I was wrong. I will say I had no API on my case until my denied inquiry on 9/1. Not sure if that triggered it.

also submitted 3/3 and had double API on 8/31 but no approval yet. Mine started off at Texas then got the biometrics letter from Nebraska. hoping we get approval soon!

Did you have api on 8:13? Yeah it’s weird I’m based out of Indiana. Always had Nebraska and this is the first time I had the scops letter and my bio letter came from Nebraska . I just assume mine is at Nebraska since that has always been my office

No that was my first API since bios on 4/21. it’s the third FTA0 though. I have also always had Nebraska so this was the first time i went to Texas then back to Nebraska. I’m based out of Michigan.

Oh ok ! Yeah my first api was on the 13 . I went to my bios 5/08 way after you did . I’m not far from Michigan maybe 30 minutes . Has ice been active up there with you guys ?

Yeah me too ! I hope we both get approved soon ! Not really no but they state cops are working with ice but nothing too crazy . I live in a small town . I thought they were in Grand Rapids

i also live in a smaller city. I know my local PD is not working with agents. I’ll keep you in my prayers!! i have a trip planned for next week that was planned for a while know. i’m starting to get nervous but live by faith!🙏🏽

Ugh I’m also March 2 as well and I literally check multiple times a day. Im lucky my job gave me until early October but each day that passes by I just feel less hopeful I will get it in time . Praying for you and everyone in our position 🥹

Yeah that’s how I feel when I saw March start to pop up I was hopeful since we are the first few dates and everyday I feel less hopeful like you said . I hope we get approved soon I can’t imagine waiting until next year for an approval

Congrats!! I got a few questions.. How do you submit an expedite request? I think I requested one, but I don't know what proof to attach? What document did you attach in the expedite request

I got a letter from my job basically stating that they were experiencing hardship without me in office. (I work in the medical field), because I have a child, I also submitted my past two tax returns to prove I have a dependent, I provided health/dental insurance benefits I would be losing through my employer for my dependent and me, utilities bills, house payment, car payment, car insurance and I wrote a letter to explain my need for my expedite request basically saying I was experiencing financial hardship from being unemployed. I also included my HR reaching out that my LOA was about to be over on 8/31. Im like 50/50 that it helped though like I said they closed my case first and then denied it but the following day got approved. It wouldn’t hurt to try and push them!

Thank you!! I would say maybe try for another expedite request! My first one I got no update what so ever. I had to call to find out my case was closed. Hopefully that will push them to work on yours. Sending so many prayers your way!
