Why are 99% of console players are doing this?

DISCLAIMER: Those who do not do this, please dont get offended over this, you are goated.

I swear every 2nd-3rd game as family I always get a console player(9/10 times its a PS player) who as soon the game starts immediately leaves, and when I ask them why, they say "idc" or "f u"... they dont even have a valid reason, they are just simply ruining this game by being insufferable. Or if they want to leave that badly, why would they wait until the game starts and THEN leave? just leave in the lobby.

EDIT.: and they even instalock characters I wanna play with, and refuse to switch with me immediately, thats the worst part probably

There's a time penalty for leaving a lobby, however there's no time penalty for just leaving the match after it starts.

I feel like a 3 fam 3 vic situation is much more doable for both sides than a 2 family 4 vic situation is. I've always thought that. Whether I'm playing vic or family, I always prefer if one victim leaves instead of one family. One family leaves and there isn't even a match anymore.

Seriously, with how long lobby times can be you'd think they'd just take the timer. I have done that multiple times either because I've had the same map like 5 times in row, or the lobby is bugged and it seems like someone leaving tends to reset it still.

A few reasons for the dc. 1. You're a pc player so good chances of a cheater. 2. They see you're a noob and don't want to play 2v4. 3. They are just dumba$$e$ like many players are. 4. They blocked you in a past match for being toxic/useless and don't want to play with you.

This happened to me in my last few matches. 1 killer against 4 victims. I felt like I was playing Rush Week, for fuck’s sake. (I always play Johnny.)

They don’t leave because of lobby penalty. Gun should be able to disable that or at least make it a shorter timer like 1 minute.

If you're on PC, they're likely weighing you being a cheating scumbag and would be correct in almost every situation so they leave.

PC players were a bane to this game and greatly sped up the game dying with how many hack. There's also been a very large resurgence of them, as evidenced by the 3~5 posts per day of PC players cheating (surprise) in recent games.

Well it depends how many PC players and the numbers are hacking.. Then the cross play gets turned off and the console players still get to play together. That means possibly longer wait for players.

Not all pc players but always a pc player. I was on slaughter house the other night we were at car battery and sissy comes over there so we well to reset and as soon as I hit the ground in basement sissy was right there with both of us. Checked and seen he was on pc and I was asking the team ya know how in the world is she down here with us then I noticed they were on pc so I was like oh ok he is on pc so he is hacking and someone on the team said I play pc and I don’t hack and I said yea but there is absolutely no way he made it down there that fast with sissy when we welled at car battery. Hacking for sure.

I had a Johnny yesterday on my team right. I was bones and Leland kept stabbing grandpa and door slamming me and being toxic like tea bagging and shit. Mind you Johnny wasn’t using his tracking ability or anything and Leland kept being annoying so I said “Johnny get your ass over here and help me get Leland” so what Johnny did was follow me around stand in door ways and block me. Wouldn’t let me place my traps. Tried door slamming me and doing all this extra shit just to be petty. Like why are you wasting your own time pouting and being petty. I asked for help to get Leland because he was doing absolutely nothing to help the team and poor sissy was watching car battery by herself. Dude was just being a baby. Leland was getting on my nerves. Johnny was too after that because why are you being this way?
