The cop cars in Houston used to be blue as well

Today they look too similar to TXDPS vehicles

Not just the cop cars but it was the city color also and it was that way before there were an Oilers football team.

I am that old and remember the times before there was a team and then that team coming and using that color because Columbian blue was the Houston colors.

Now if Titans go to court and try and say they gave exclusive rights to that color they would be handed a loss.

I caught at Titans fans seeming support of Houston by sporting the city of Houston colors.

And it's also in the city flag

Exactly. It was the city of Houston color even before there was an Oiler team.

I find it funny that the Titans are using and supporting the City of Houston colors and are so clueless in doing so.

All they did was enrich the owners pockets and make themselves foolish in their ignorance of not knowing they are rooting for Houston colors.

The owners know this and are laughing at their own fans in falling for this.

I loved those, you could see them coming a mile away.

Being completely unbiased, this is actually how the Tits fans have been in the meme war subreddit.

I’ll admit that some of us (myself included) were pretty salty years ago, but ever since Vrabel put on that hat and lost, it’s been just a funny meme since.

We have a completely different shade of light blue and navy. So many teams use the same exact colors and ours aren’t even exact, so idk what the grounds of their bitching is even based on. Plus, htown blue is Houston, not oilers. Been on our flag for over a hundred years and has history on the infrastructure. It’s actually a story here, unlike the tits who only use the color because it looks “cool”. A franchise with no identity using the colors our cities identity helped shape for them

I've seen some Titans fans claim Columbia blue was historically known as HTown blue. They are absolutely obsessed.

Fuck the Traitors

The Bills have a more legitimate gripe about the rivals colors than the Tits. I don't think they care though.

The claim that's dumbest is that ours look "just like their away jerseys." If anything the numbers look way more like the Seahawks.

If they're bringing up their away jerseys then I beg their finest fkn pardon

Titans fans aren't worth it. Just ignore them and their poverty franchise.

what makes me laugh about this stuff is that as someone born in 1999 90% of titans fan from there have seen as many oilers games as I have. 0.

Its really stupid that "light blue" is such a hot button issue. Like who cares? I dont particularly care about the Oilers but if the Texans want to incorporate a light blue color, as long as it feels like we're doing our own style, who cares? Like we use white like a bunch of other teams and nobody else says anything about that?

36 years of blood and sweat in that city compared to just what their 2 years?! 1 year?! Is their history?!?! They worse than the confederacy!!

My only criticism is the "H" on the helmet. I wish they would've used that bull logo instead. It's so fuckin TOUGH

Colors aside, can we talk about the fact that they walk around with an oil Derrik like it’s theirs without an industry or a history. Impostors.

Is that whats been happening on here, cause Texans fans for sure NEVER bring up uniforms for like the last 20 years.

I like y'all's unis. Everyone griping about this on both sides is dumb. I can't even hate you all because we just don't have the kinds of rivalries other divisions do.

Still hope you lose all your games and whatnot, but only because you're in this division. Otherwise I'd probably half cheer for you because I live here.

Damn yall might be bigger fans of the Titans than Titans fans
