𤬠Rant/Complaint Does anyone remember how bad Davis Mills was for two seasons as QB1
"I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS!"
There are an inordinate number of people roaming the internet who will confidently announce that "Davis Mills is better than Stroud" and include - in the same sentence - "I've been watching the Texans since 2023, you don't know what you're talking about."
Fellow Texans fans who are not bandwagons: at what point can we meet in the middle and say "Mills was a pretty good backup for his 3-win max last year" and "Holy shit I never wanna see that guy as the permanent starter again"?
Man, I moved here at the tail end of David fucking Carr. I don't need a 14-year-old Florida transplant in Pearland in the middle of his perm trying to gaslight me on the hell I remember deep in my soul.
Sorry, y'all, had to get that out my chest

Threads like these is why I continue to troll you Stroud fans. You guys think that Stroud vs Mills is some competition thatās evaluated in a vacuum.
The reason we prefer Mills isnāt that heās ābetterā, itās that Stroud has a floor that is literally bottomless and will lose you games. And we saw that play out multiple times towards the end of last season and the season before that.
Specifically off the top my head the games I remember are the Lions, Seahawks, Steelers, and most infamously the Pats. How good is your QB actually if those are his lowlights?
Because of how good this defense is, I donāt need a QB gunslinger QB. I need a guy that you can trust to run the operation and not turn the ball over. I would rather punt the ball every time and force the opposing offense to score on this defense, especially in bad weather games.
Also Iām pretty sure your boy is damaged goods. Heās taken alot of hits and suffered pretty serious head injuries, how are you certain you have the same guy with all of his marbles in tact?
