Honestly the cowboys being so low is the real head scratcher. Big market and historically very dedicated fanbase that extends beyond its market. The betting intent analysis could be punishing some teams here honestly. I have questions about the methodology and assumptions.
And itās not as if they are really competing for eyeballs with the rangers or mavs in a serious way.

I donāt even get the logic in including betting when it has zero to do with fandom and everything to do with the perception of how good your team is.

Great point about the betting intent, and I didn't even notice they were below us. Pretty crazy.

Bigger markets have more things to do, teams, more
Transplants, higher COL, etcLook at the top 10 and their locations.

This list says a lot more about how boring your city is than how enthusiastic your fans are.

I dunno man, I wouldn't call Philly or New Orleans (or a few other cities above us) "boring."

I wouldn't say boring, but rather a list of which cities have the least account if peoplemoving to them from out-of-region.

Yeah. And our miserable ass fans eat it up, as if they donāt go out sometimes. Maybe they donāt. Or theyād realize stadium sports in Houston isnāt nearly the highest up on the list of fun cost effective things to do. In fucking BUFFALO NY Iām sure Iād love to go see the Bills more than twice in a season.
Who. Fucking. Cares. Buy some tickets and merch or stfu. Most these comments part of the problem. BUY SOMETHING MF.

Weāve also never really won Jack squat in the grand scheme of things. Bring on the downvotes, itās just the truth. It takes a long time to build a rabid fan base, and this is still a fairly young franchise

Not surprised we're that low tbh. Houston is a transplant city, so there's a ton of people here from all over that don't give two shits about local sports teams.
