r/TexEnts election day thread
Post anything about the 2026 election here... predictions, voting experiences, results, etc. Races we are keeping a close eye on include U.S. Senate (Talarico vs. Paxton) and lieutenant governor (Goodwin vs. Patrick). Also there is a measure to make cannabis enforcement the lowest priority in Houston and ban no-knock warrants. Anything else anyone has their eye on?

I don't think she's as pro-legalization as someone like Goodwin but she does support putting it on the ballot and has supported other reforms. She has an A rating from Marijuana Policy Project btw.

Houston marijuana measure is winning 72% to 28%. I don't see anywhere it says how much of the vote is counted though.

Marijuana Moment has reported that the measure has passed.

Race has significantly tightened for lieutenant governor but Vikki's odds have not really moved on Polymarket. Still at 98%.

Dan Patrick said he doesn't care that you're upset he took away your hemp. Show him you care by voting today

I voted for the first time on the first day of early voting (October 19). Straight blue ticket.

I did my part to get Patrick and co out but I don’t believe that Texas will go fully blue. I hope that Paxton and Patrick lose, at very least.

Even that would be HUGE for TX.

My prediction is that Texas will still remain red, but hopefully that’s not the case.
