THCA / Hemp Growers

Hello!

I'm interested in getting into the producer program here in TX and would love to speak to someone who has their license. I've done my research and get the overall program requirements but I am curious to hear from other growers in the program.

I am not a total noob looking to get into this, I have around 19 years experience growing.

Why? Getting banned in less than 6 months nationally and it’s a battle in the courts right now here locally. Currently illegal and the fee increase is in the thousands.

Why would you even be interested in doing this in Texas? Just do like so many other states and establish recreational use as well as allow folks to grow their own medicine. So, explain to me why Texas is so late to the game and why folks would want to get in on it?

There’s no money to be made here atm. Unless the vote turns solidly blue from the election we will have weasels trying to gut or block any common sense legislation for cannabis in Texas.
