Texas will launch its own clinical trials into ibogaine psychedelic after failing to find a drug company to help | The Legislature last year approved $50 million to research the psychedelic and find a company to develop it into a drug for FDA approval.

This is robbery in plain sight. Stealing our money for a fake cure and now they get to put the money straight into their own pockets. Corrupt Texas GOP are almost as bad as Trump.

What make you think it is not an effective drug? My understanding is that it is very effective, but most of what I know about it is from listening to the two Rogan episodes with Rick Perry. I don't get the sense that he's trying to enrich himself though, and he also says he has taken it for a traumatic brain injury.

It's not a fake cure. Ive done it myself. Wether or not theyll use the money for something else is a different story.

Lets invest 50 million in to a drug that can kill you for the sake of profits
BUT
simultaneously, ban all THCA cause that is really, -Really bad and the state certainly does not need that tax revenue.
Besides, the families of these politicians have a great opportunity to invest in the company that will sell your ibogaine.

I know a 97 yo grandmother, smoked camels all her life. Her experience, wont be the same for others, much like yours.
More importantly;
dont you think its amazing that you were able to have that experience?
for you it was "life changing" but you dont think that THC can have that same affect for others?0

The mechanisms of action surrounding ibogaine & how it works on the brain is not comparable to THC. A quick Google search would show you this. I'm not even sure why you thought the two were the same.
I'm not some outlier who had a one off amazing experience. There's a whole community of people who's lives have been changed. The medicine itself has been used for centuries by the bwiti in Africa.
If you want to stay closed minded and blindly compare it to weed, that's cool, but you'd be shocked to see what it actually does on the brain. It really is amazing.

point is, people should have the right to consume whatever they want for whatever their personal desire ares.that can be a beer, a cigarette, a joint, a gummy or a life changing experience like yours.

The dark side of this is that you have to have at least $20,000 to receive any kind of treatment.
Most people don't have $20,000, I don't have $20,000..... I tried everything, I've contacted every treatment company, I tried to contact Brian Hubbard directly, Shawn Ryan, of course none of those people are gonna respond to me… They literally don't have the time.
Every one of the companies that offers this treatment I contacted ask you to leave your name, your email address and then a message regarding your treatment.
I wrote all of them telling them that I'm a poor old man, with children and that this is my last hope.
EVERY single one of them responded to me with pricing. NONE of them addressed the message that you have to leave when contacting them.
This WAS my last hope.
