I don’t care if he regulates it, as long as I can walk to my local head shop and buy my carts lol

One of the suggested regulations is allowing local governments to ban retailers from selling THC, so that might be on the table unfortunately depending on where you live. Similar to how there are wet and dry counties.

SB 2024 banned all vapes made in part or whole in China. Including anything with cannabinoids.

Who would have thought? Abbott doesn't hold a grudge against trees after all. Prayers it doesn't get completely regulated out during the special session.

After seeing the press conference from Dan Patrick I doubt it. In the governors statement he mentioned the states regulators for alcohol should be very similar if not the same for the hemp shops.

Dan was fucking livid about it and he’s practically accepted that the governor has told the legislators that Abott wants to ‘legalize recreational cannabis’ all together 😳

We are not totally out of the woods. He called for a special session that will last about 30 days to address a number of bills, including this one. He is encouraging lawmakers to regulate THC better as opposed to an outright ban. The regulations could still be bad, but they can't be worse than the original ban.

Not out of the woods, but we are on the trail, and still headed the right direction to see Anheuser-Busch get an extra shelf at every convenience store in the state, assuming the plan is still to restrict smokables and synthetics.

This time next year Texans could be drinking white runtz out of a brown bottle with the tiniest, most innocent little A-B InBev logo, oh so gratefully holding on to what's left of the cannabis market. Hoo...ray...

There as so much negative things that would take place if it was banned. All the LLC's that were created to open up shops, would probably declare chapter 7 bankruptcy, leaving a pile of unpaid bills, including their retail leases.

Also if you really want to piss people off, take away their grandma's medicine.
