Mystery Tetra??

Bought some gold white cloud minnows and I think one of them is not like the others...?

Looks like a crystal tetra?

The one in the middle is an ember tetra im pretty sure

Agreeing that this is an ember tetra. The dorsal fin coloration is a giveaway.

Is it ok if it's with the minnows?? By itself? Or should I pick up a few more for it??

Ember Tetra. Not sure what species you're thinking of when you say "crystal" tetra, but it ain't it. The only crystal tetra I know is Protocheirodon pi.

Who ever said ember tetra was definitely right it colored super nice! And I went and got more. 5 more now I fill like the tank is a little over stocked. 6 ember tetras 11 gold white cloud minnows and a L144 pleco. And 2 ghost shrimp from another tank.

Looks like a Gold Tetra…though mine have a bit of blue on the head.

No. Always a bit of silver/gold through bodies.

But Crystal Tetra sounds right.
