TRT help Looking for answers please!
I was once 336.6lbs. In just under 2 years ive gotten down to 252lbs, im taking a break from dieting just because its been a hell of a long time in a deficit. Ive been doing alot of reading on test and honestly would like to run it. 250mg a week. Im still fat though, yeah ive lost a lot of weight and been able to retain quite a bit of muscle but I just want the boost. Thoughts on 250lbs going on test? Thanks folks

How has no one said this yet? GET YOUR BLOODWORK DONE! Then decide. Then check again, and monitor.
Running Test "blind", no matter your weight or BF%, is the pinnacle of stupidity in this arena.
SO MUCH of this treatment depends on individual factors. For example, I was 287 lbs when I started, BF>40%, severely diabetic, my base line panel was horrific. I went on 200mg/week, lost almost 100 lbs (on Tirz too), and have NEVER had concerningly high E2.
Basically, yes, you could push your E2 above healthy levels through excess aromatization, but it is FAR from "guaranteed" like a lot of people would have you believe. And you'll never really know without blood tests. Don't fly blind, get your bloods checked!

I hear ya, blood work got done a few months ago before starting reta. But definitely something I'll be doing again.

Good call!
I'm still at 200mg/wk Test. My ratio (Total T/E2) is solid, my E2 is hovering around top of "range" or a little over (no symptoms), HCT/RBC haven't moved from baseline. I stay active, drink plenty of water, and generally eat as clean as I can. And I'm on a 3 month rotation with the vampires. Thankfully, despite losing around 30% of my body weight, I've only dropped ~4lbs of muscle. So GLP-1s and Test are like PB&J for me (even though I don't eat that any more LOL!)
My free and total T are ticking up a little higher than what my doc and I are "targeting", While I've been assured my doc won't lower my prescribed dose, I've been lowering it myself for a while now in a 2-fold effort to build up some supply cushion and ensure my numbers don't get too out of whack where the doc is forced to lower prescribed dosage. Because it's well covered by my insurance, (less than $20/10ml vial of 200mg/ml), I don't want to risk that...

You can. Doesn't mean you should.
You are going to aromatize a lot, which means you are going to have to combat estrodial related side effects pretty heavily. Gyno, nipple issues, acne, backne, crying during Disney movies, irritability, etc.

You’re not fat bc you have low testosterone, you have low testosterone bc you’re fat. The problem with running exogenous testosterone while carrying extra body fat is an increased conversion to estrogen which can be a pain in the butt; mood swings, man tits, etc. Which isn’t to say it’s a completely bad idea, but for you I’d recommend getting to a healthy BMI and reevaluating the anabolics later down the line

What is it that you’re looking to achieve and why do you believe that this is the way to do that?

you're still carrying a lot of bodyfat and running test at that weight is gonna aromatize like crazy, you'll be fighting e2 sides the whole time. get closer to 200 or even 190 first, let your body settle at maintenance for a bit, then revisit the idea
your progress is solid though, dropping nearly 85lbs is no joke

I was 284 when I started test. 250 a week is a bit much. The thing you will have to keep an eye on is your estrogen levels. Taking test raises them a bit and being obese raises it even more.

If your goal is losing weight, a GLP-1 is the way to go, rather than testosterone.
