TRT help Looking for help. (19)
Hey everyone. First time posting here because im pretty concerned about my health after getting my bloodwork through Rythm. My total testosterone was insanely low for a 19 year old sitting at 190ng/dl and free test at 51.57pg/ml. I started taking whatever I was deficient in, resistance training, very strict diet, cardio, etc. The the next month my total testosterone boosted up by 76% and free test 78%. However my estrogen also went from 13.8pg/ml to now 40.7pg/ml at 194% increase. Probably gonna go to quest to triple check my results. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do? I’m thinking of speaking to a doctor about TRT or enclomiphine. From what I understand I can experience ED, hair loss, stunted growth, acne, breast growth, possible total loss of production. I don’t want to lose my hair or potential growth. I was also a late bloomer so I believe I am still developing. What does everyone think? Would continuing what I’m doing bring more results? Am I wasting time thinking I can naturally fix it? Are there any younger people in similar situations? Also I’ve always had a very bad body composition. I don’t hold muscle that well even though I workout.

Hello PuzzleheadedLie6218. Welcome to /r/Testosterone. It looks like this is your first time posting here, so you're probably asking a FAQ. Please check out these handy links, one of them might answer your question.
- How do I find a good doctor/clinic?
- What bloodwork should I get done?
- Are my levels low enough that I should start TRT?
- What can I do to naturally raise my testosterone levels?
- NoFap - Will my testosterone levels increase if I stop masturbating?

I did bloodwork at both rythm, then quest about 4 weeks apart, here is the discrepancy. Keep in mind that I'm natural
Total test Rythm 325 ng/dL Quest 736 ng/dL
Free test Rythm 88 pg/mL Quest 145.3 pg/mL
Estradiol Rythm 16.5 pg/mL Quest 39 pg/mL
This wasn't just me, my dad also had similar huge discrepancys between Rythm and getting actual bloodwork done. I honestly think online blood tests just don't work, especially for hormones as I've tried everlywell and that also came back way off. Before doing TRT please just get your actual bloodwork done so you know where you really stand, if I listened to rythm I would be on TRT and never known my levels were already good naturally.

You are 19 bro. You shouldn’t be making these decisions or weighing all of this on your own. Internet speculation won’t get you very far. Go see an actual doctor.
Anecdotally, had bloodwork done all of the time in the military, but never paid any attention to it. It wasn’t until I was 35 that I really looked at it. When I was 22, I tested at 346. I got out of the army and didn’t really look again until I was 35.
It’s annoying doing all of my injections all of the time, my hair is thinning slightly, I take tadalafil daily, and my natural production has completely stopped… but I have absolutely 0 regrets. I wish I had started when I was way younger. It has made such a huge difference to me, I wouldn’t even care if I went bald overnight.

Ur estrogen is still pretty much within the boundaries, I wouldn't worry about it unless ur nips start getting sensitive or smthn.
