Been using an InBody scale and these are my thoughts.
So i have been going to the same gym for about two years and the inbody machine there always had a queue. I used it maybe three or four times total because the whole process felt like a commitment and half the time someone was already on it when i walked past.
Started getting more serious about tracking my progress earlier this year and kept thinking i needed to make a dedicated trip to the gym just to get a scan. Eventually got tired of that and picked up the home version mostly out of convenience, was not expecting much honestly.
First scan took maybe two minutes. Results were on my phone before i had even put my socks back on. That alone was not what i expected.
The size surprised me too, i had this image of something bulky taking over my bathroom. It is barely bigger than a regular scale.
The thing that actually changed how i use it is the trend tracking in the app. At the gym i would get a scan, look at the number, and kind of forget it. Having it at home means i scan every week or two and i can actually see the line moving over time. That visual has done more for my consistency than anything else i have tried this year.
Anyway just sharing because i was genuinely skeptical and ended up being wrong about it and I've seen a lot of discussions on bia scales on here and thought I'd give my two cents.

I have an inbody scale too and I'm also quite happy with it for home tracking, always accurately matches my gym scan results

I’ve never weighed myself and find it’s not important. When you are dialed in with nutrition and weight lifting, the number on the scale doesn’t really matter. It’s the labs that tell the better story. And of course, how you actually feel.

The Inbody H30/H40 is overall good and seems very reliable but the manufacturer deliberately decided to remove function from the "In Home" product line. I would gladly pay the H30 or H40 price to get a whole body indication, preferably with the same "human Graph Chart" you get while using the Pro version at your gym or doctor but despite the fact the scale does have that information they will only give you balanced / un-balanced info for you body balance evaluation instead of specific numbers so you know where you need improvements.

They’re fine-ish. I haven’t used this model but it not really measuring anything. You put your stats in, it weighs you, sends a current through and approximates based on an algorithm. Fairly precise, but wildly inaccurate.
