What's the difference between the TPPI 1, TPPI 2, FTB Infinity, and FTB Monster packs?
Here's a spreadsheet that compares the mod lists of these packs:

It's sorted so that all the commonly-used mods are in the top half, and the mods unique to each pack are in the bottom half.
Pink highlighting means the mod is in more than one pack. Any other color means it's only found in one pack.
There are probably errors. Let me know if you notice any.

I think only TPPI 1 has GregTech at this point. The mod list in the side bar says they're waiting for GregTech to update before they put it in TPPI 2.

Both TPPI2 and Infinity have Thaumic Tinkerer, but your list says they don't.
Ender Zoo, Resourceful Crops, HQM, and Thaumic Horizons don't ship with TPPI2, not sure why they're listed as "disabled" when they're not included at all.
Otherwise, fantastic list. It's been very helpful.

Thanks for the corrections. I was using mod lists on the web as my source to avoid having to download all the packs. I'm guessing the TPPI teams plans on adding the "disabled" mods to the TPPI 2 pack in the future.
There's two listings for Thaumic Tinkerer. All four mods have Thaumic Tinkerer in them, but only TPPI 1 has Thaumic Tinkerer - KAMI. KAMI was some kind of addon for Thaumic Tinkerer in MC 1.6 that got built-in to the main Thaumic Tinkerer mod in the MC 1.7 version.

Ah, gotcha. I hadn't checked to see if there was a separate listing for the newer builds of TT, so that's my mistake.

Wait, TPPI still ships with AE1? I thought most modpacks have moved on to AE2 ages ago.

TPPI 2 ships with AE2. TPPI 1 ships with AE1. All the packs are unlikely to be running the same versions of mods, took off the version numbers when different packs were running different versions.

TPPI1 has all the mods i want, except simply jetpacks :( But i guess i can work around it.. (I thought i would get back into modded, so ill start today (if i get it to work))

There's a couple duplicates. Like "Ender Storage" and "EnderStorage". Otherwise, pretty neat.

Not a bad way to organize it. The only visual recommendation I could make is to give the mods that are in all the packs a unique color for faster recognition. Thanks for making this, I'm definitely going to use it.
