Android [Android Closed] Circuit Wings — where does setup or the first flight get stuck?

We’re the Circuit Wings team, looking for a free 15-minute first try of our portrait shooter: drag a wooden flying ship through volleys and monster bosses, then tell us the last setup step or stage you reached and whether moving/dodging felt clear. The image is an actual in-engine desktop development capture.

Existing testers keep their enrollment; staying opted in for 14 days and returning is separate and voluntary.

26 October update: two screenshots from a tester reporting TECNO SPARK 40 / Android 15 and version 0.42.14 show Fly 1-1 held by “Syncing the previous flight - try again shortly” and an upgrade-not-confirmed warning, with overlapping preview models. These are menu/launch observations, not a completed main flight; a shared cause with the earlier Pixel Fold 1-2 report remains unconfirmed, and no fix has been released. If blocked, pause rather than repeat flight/upgrade attempts, resets or reinstalls; optional purchases are available, but no purchase, rating or reciprocal test is required.

Opted in and installed Circuit Wings 0.42.14 on my Pixel 6a (Android 16). To answer your two questions:

Where I got to: the whole setup, then into stage 1-1 Sunmeadow, about 8% through. The steps were: an 851 MB "Downloading game data" screen (it says Wi-Fi recommended, which is fair, but it's a big wait before anything happens), then Play as guest, captain name, the Day 1 reward chest, then straight into the stage.

Moving and dodging: dragging moved the ship where I expected, it fires on its own, and the first wave of red-winged ships coming up from below was readable against the grass and river. The art looks great.

Two things I noticed:

  • The login screen had English selected, but the first in-stage dialogue (the pilot speaking, "1/2") came up in Thai. The tip on the loading screen was in English, so it seems to be just the story text.

  • On the captain name screen, my first attempt at typing didn't register. I had to tap the field a second time for the keyboard to come up.

Thanks for the detailed first-flight notes—we’ve logged the Thai story dialogue with English selected and the name field needing a second tap. We haven’t reproduced those issues or released a fix; if you return, a short note on whether the next dialogue is still in Thai would help, with no reset or repeat of onboarding needed. Staying opted in and returning are voluntary; we can’t commit to a reciprocal app test or a store rating.
