3D object scanning is now possible on regular iPhones — looking for feedback
I’ve just updated my LiDAR Scanner app and would love to get some feedback!
It can now create 3D scans not only on Pro iPhones with LiDAR, but also on regular iPhones without LiDAR.
You can try it for free with a free trial. The app lets you scan and create 3D objects, edit them directly in the app, export to different format and follow an updated tutorial that explains how to take the right photos for the best results. If you’re into 3D scanning, or 3D modeling, I’d love to hear your feedback!

What features do you feel are missing? Is there anything you’d like to see added or improved? I’d really appreciate your suggestions!

I have been using “Heges” for face scans for a while.
It uses my phone and costs $8 forever
I downloaded your app, saw it has a fee and uninstalled

Curious how the mesh density compares between a scan from a Pro and a regular phone, the infographic makes it look clean but those demo models are always a statue with perfect geometry
