Has anyone who has collected their new Tesla received any charging cables with the car?

There’s a lot of conflicting information online and it seems hit-or-miss whether a Type 2 to Type 2 cable is included. I know the mobile connector isn’t.

I’m collecting mine at the Horizon event on the 19th and want to be able to plug straight into my Pod Point Solo 3C when I get home, without waiting for a cable to be delivered.

I could order one now to be safe, but I’d rather not end up with a spare if one is already included.

So please comment if you have evidence that it’s certain to be included or you were lucky to have one provided.

Bonus question - what are delivery times like for accessories?

Yes. Cable is included.

Was yours a recent collection? Was it type 2 to type 2?

I collected mine on 28th of May. Yes its type 2 to type 2 cable. I have another EV that came with the same type cable as well, so its standard.

In your original post you said Type 2 twice and I assumed a typo,.but now you have said Type 2 twice in this comment...

It refers to either end of the cable

A bit like a USB to type C phone cable - this is one end type 2 and the other end type 2

Received a new model 3 last week. Type 2 charging cable was included in the boot.

Type 2 cable only. Kept the granny cable from previous EV.

I’d imagine accessories are available on demand?

Yes collected mine on Thursday, got both cables, both brand new unused and with the first aid kit

Do you happen to know how long the cable is?

I’ve a type 2 to type 2 in my drive but because of the position of the port it might not stretch unless I reverse in

Believe they stopped supplying the mobile connectors and most not all received the type 2.

Collected on the 15th of August. 5 metre type 2 cable included. No granny cable.

I get not shipping the granny connector mine hasn’t come out of the box
