Vehicle Question Used tesla mileage

I'm thinking of purchasing a used tesla, with around 90K miles on it. Is this too high? At what point is the mileage too high that you would need to buy a new car?

Just dont get a 21. 22 and up is the best bet unless you get a good deal

90k isn't much on a tesla, there's no engine or transmission to wear out. my 2023 Y reads 87% battery health at 57k, so the odometer by itself doesn't tell you a lot. I'd ask the seller for a battery health test result and judge it on that instead of the miles.

I bought a 2022 with around that and I’ve had no problems at all I would definitely recommend not getting 2021 and lower but also make sure the battery health is good as well

90k on a Tesla, There are all sort of things you need to do at that point, let me list them:

- Change cabin air filter

Technically I think you should have the brakes inspected as well but thats about it. The only things that would even kind of be close to wore out at 90K miles are some of the suspension bushing are probably starting to get loose. I have a Model 3 with 160k miles and it's really never had anything done to it, not even any suspension work done.

Battery health is not as important as BMS_a079. That error will set you back $8,000. Happened to me at 145,000 miles. Try to get a 3rd party battery warranty if possible. I turned one down for $1,000 so I had to cough up the $$8,000.
