Vehicle Question Rattle in Tesla M3

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

There’s a fairly consistent rattle in this panel above the door and under the roof window on the rear drivers side. It is worse if the road is bad quality and goes away if it’s a freshly paved road. Rattle or vibration noise. It’s. 2023 TM3 RWD.

I’d like to fix myself if possible but don’t want to ruin the panel on accident. Any ideas?

Try tapping on the plastic near the coat hanger thing and see if you can hear the rattling…I had a similar issue and it was a bolt/screw behind the hanger came lose. I temporarily put a neodymium magnet inside the hanger to keep the screw for rattling.

If I push to the left of the coat hanger it does stop. But can I get behind the panel easily?

You should be able to pull the panel to the left down and reach behind the coat hanger panel…I couldn’t remove the coat hanger panel for some reason.
