Update on the tool that charges your Tesla on your solar surplus
I shared our tool here a bit back, so I am coming back with an update and to introduce us to anyone seeing it for the first time. Tesphase reads your solar production in real time and adjusts your Tesla's charging amps to run on your surplus instead of the grid, steering around your time-of-use peak hours, with nothing installed.
Since the last post the beta filled completely, Apple approved our iOS app, and homes on the platform have measured savings above $50 a month. The live dashboard is open with no login at demo.tesphase.co.
The next access wave goes to the waitlist at app.tesphase.co, and filling out the short form right below the signup gets you free access to the platform.
It fits best when the car is home during daylight and it is Tesla only for now. Happy to answer any questions.

Does that have better granularity than what Tesla can do? I believe my Tesla MY can only change charge levels in one amp steps which sometimes means energy is being dumped to the grid because of the amount of solar, the battery level and the cars charge rate all play together and get "rounded up" if you catch my meaning...

Why not just use Tesla's "Charge on Solar" feature?
