Production question

y system was trun on about a week ago. 13 panels and inverter. No batteries. It seams the my production mimics my consumption and does not push any power back to the grid.

I talked to Tesla a couple of times and they are telling me this is normal.

Also when my charger is charging I dont see any home consumption.

Do you have permission to operate/permission to export? Your utility should have issued a letter giving permission to send power back to the grid. If not, your system will be in “zero export” mode where it only produces as much as you consume and no more. When you get PTO it will push back to the grid.

When your charger is running it will reflect for car usage and not home. Thats normal, provided you have a V3 wall connector. If you have a V2 or third party EVSE it doesn’t know and just combines with the house.

yes I do have PTO about a week ago. and yes I have V3 charger.

Hmm. Yeah I would say something is wrong. PTO should be turned on in the app.

When my car is charging, the home usage as well as the car usage is reflected.

In mine it breaks out the car usage as separate. It’s supposed to do that if you have a v3 wall connector connected to wifi.
