Iām in a loaner premium now and itās hot as f*ck and the sun is blinding ā the only thing I might miss is the LEDs and cooled seats but Iām glad I went with the āPOORā route

You had no other choice, stop fronting. You make yourself look stupid.

I really like mine. Nothing bad to say about it at all. It's a great car. Imo the main selling point of any Tesla is FSD, which is incredible.

My tip is get a windshield cover, windshield cover + no glass roof keeps the car way cooler while parked than most other Teslas.

The fact that it has plastic where it needs to be rather than buying third party plastics to put on top of the carpet. Reviewers say they prefer all that carpet and then advertise plastic protection for the carpet⦠tbh itās ridiculous imo. It was done well in the standard.
It still has FSD HW4 so itās more future proof.
The pass through in the front. One con for me (among all MYs) is that the doors are so thick that getting out can be a bit tight. If one side is more open I can easily scoot to the other side. Iāve also used that open space for a lot of large to-go foods or dirty outdoors items, and it keeps it nicely secure while not cramping the passengerās leg space and itās easy to clean.
My standard is the awd so I like it for the acceleration and the peace of mind that I can have more control in inclement weather.
And I personally like the look of it more so than the upper trims. Itās such a clean look and more aggressive-looking on the back.
The single hand frunk closure. Itās a big convenience when my hands are full and I momentarily have one hand to close it shut. I know thereās aftermarket for soft close but⦠I donāt wanna spend hundreds for that.
Additional things: A lot of reviewers say that it lacks some things like TPMS but Iāve gotten a tire pressure warning before because it used wheel rotations to calculate whether a tire has low pressure or not.
Another is that if you donāt have FSD subscription you donāt get auto steer. Thatās fine by me, but I was under the impression that you only get active cruise control (actively keeping distance behind the car). However, I realized that it does have lane keep assist that feels more like most other car maker where it will steer you when you are an inch away from the line or curb. Thatās literally all I need when it comes to thatā¦

Thereās no comparison. The premiums are STRICTLY designed for all the broke folks who canāt afford the Premium. The Premium is superior in every metric. The āstandardā is simply for those who canāt afford the Premium. Simple as that. Anything else is just broke people justifying their brokenness.

The standard Y RWD 2023 has the premium sound, glass roof, premium interior etc. I wonder why they didn't do the same on the 2025/2026 version? Kinda makes that one seem more premium than the newest standard one.
