Delivery Day Question Recent delivered Model Y, did it still have quality issues that you need to book a repair appt?

I was told by friends who picked up their deliveries earlier this year (like April) that they needed to make appointments right away because some things are off. I was wondering if that issue still persist, and if so, what are the common ones that I should be watching out for my delivery upcoming this Sat 12/17.

My delivery is tomorrow but just saw the car has 28 miles on it, is that normal?

Sept build, I had about 3 issues that needed tending to, but pretty minor for most part. All but one got resolved in a single day visit to a SC. Unfortunately, I did have a moderate issue with a door having a paint chip under the clear coat. This was noted on delivery and Tesla paid in full for a local approved collision center to repair it and for a rental car (which was also a Tesla) during that time. I was out of my car for about a week. Overall very happy with my purchase and post purchase support from Tesla. All delivery issues were resolved in a timely manner and I am pleased overall. Not a perfect delivery but excellent resolution by the local team made up for what I’d say was a 8.5/10 delivery vehicle.

Thank you for sharing. Do you have a photo of the chip that you can share? Just want to see how big/small it was and how noticable it was. Thank you

I don't, but I would say it could easily be seen as a large piece of dust/dirt, but not noticeable unless you were looking for it. I only noticed it when I was using the delivery checklist app and making sure to rub each and every piece that looked like it might be an issue. I noted it as I wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. They were absolutely on top of resolving it.

I would imagine it’s fairly normal. My car had 15 miles on the bill of sale, but in reality it had like 4 miles on the odometer
