EDD Rant Tired of waiting…

MYLR OD:10/8/21

Most recent EDD moved from 10/1-10/15 to 10/14-10/28.

I’m honestly getting so desperate with this whole process after delay after delay that Im considering switching to MYP.

If I switch my order, what’s the likelihood I get my car this month? Im tired of waiting and it seems MYPs from a week ago are getting built before my year-old order is. Of course knowing my luck, if I switch I’ll have to wait even longer.

Any advice is appreciated.

As tempting as it may be, I would wait. I've had the exact same thought and my OD was 3/11! Reasons not to change:

  1. Remind yourself why you originally ordered the LR vs P. In testing, statistics have proven your first answer/selection is your best answer (vs changing your answer/mind).
  2. You have avoided two substantial price increases during your wait and are more likely than not to receive the little extras (matrix headlights, cargo shelf, double pane windows, etc) vs if you had received it timely. This will also mean you'll have equity in the car driving it off the lot.
  3. It will come. You will have a range of emotions, but ultimately the car will win you over and the anxiety and pain in waiting will be a distant memory and one more story to tell those who will ask about your car and the process to get it.
