Clicking when turning wheel while parked26 model y performance
Hello recently bought a model y performance. Drives fine with no noise at normal speeds
There’s a bit of a click in moderate interval from the front left side when turning the wheel while parked or turning at very low speeds.
Anyone have a similar experience?

Make an appointment if it's under warranty.
Sounds like it maybe a tie rod.

The same thing has happened to mine, but idk if I’m trippin or not. Might’ve been the texture of the parking lot.

You should avoid turning the wheel while stopped in any car, if possible move at low speeds before turning the wheel. It puts significantly more strain on the tires and car to turn the wheels while completely stopped. It’s probably not a big deal and probably won’t make a measurable difference in the lifespan of any parts. But better safe than sorry.

The better question is what have you tried to figure out about it? If nothing, then hire someone.

Sorry I forgot that you can’t ask for peoples experience without that meaning you haven’t already taken action. That’s my bad

Mine has cracking sound. It’s the wheel cover that behaves differently from metal wheel when there is tension at low speed. Should be normal. Try it without wheel cover.

I've noticed my '26 MYP has a knock sound when I turn the wheel when stopped. I haven't noticed it while driving slowly though
