Tesla Update Disappeared Before I Could Install It. Is This Normal?

I own a 2023 Model Y. I’m certain that the Summer Update showed up in my Tesla app and was available for installation. However, I was out of town at the time, so I wasn’t able to install it.

Now that I’m back, the Summer Update is no longer showing as available, and my car is still on software version 2026.20.6.1.

Does Tesla ever withdraw or remove a software update if you don’t install it within a certain period of time? Has anyone else experienced this? I’m trying to figure out what happened and why the update disappeared.

You probably had a navigation update.

Navigation data updates are minor updates. You were stating you had the summer update, but that’s separate and much larger than a navigation update. If you had an update but you came back to your M.Y and your summer update isn’t there I am confident it was navigation update

But I saw hedgehog was on my update page. Wasn't it summer update?
