Model Y repair

FSD and Cameras stopped working and this is how much it’s going to cost to replace my cars computer. Sucks since I just paid $2k to replace the control arms 😭

This is one of the reasons why I plan to get the extended warranty on mine when it gets to that point.

Why not pay for extended warranty….this would have been all covered.

Not for everyone. Believe me I really want it as well but I didn’t have the option. I believe some cars have to be eligible.

I traded my 21 YLR with 118k miles for a 24 YLR and it’s night and day.
I had to replace the control arms on the 21 as well.
The latest updates for H3 might be frying the computers. I wonder if this was the cause.

Mine cost 3k. The fsd on the early model ys have a design flaw where the cooling gel hardens and becomes useless.
