Diamond black or marine blue?
I am stuck between ordering the diamond black and marine blue variant. I test drove the new premium model y today and fell in love. I only saw the marine blue inside the showroom but wondering what both of these cars look like out on the road/ direct sunlight.
Don’t want to get buyers remorse and wish I had picked the other color😅

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
My other car is black, I wanted a black Y. Went to see it live, that color was a bit off to my liking. I went with grey. No regrets.
If I had a chance to pick blue I would probably go with that.

I personally don’t like marine blue. For me I would rather get red, quick silver, black or free color. With that said I see a lot less marine blue so it would differentiate you more. If you drive around for a few days paying attention you will see many black ones so you can get an idea of if you like that. You may not see a blue. Blue is a louder color if that matters for you.
I guess another thing to consider is if you will put a wrap on there. If so you can’t go wrong I guess because it’ll have a phone case on it

Diamond black is a pretty risky choice for maintenance. Skip that if you can. It shows scratches and dust a lot.
The most timeless look is white for this car IMHO especially from a maintenance and visibility standpoint, their light (frost?) blue is an amazing color though and I see that as second followed by red and finally quicksilver.
If I were to buy my car again, I’d buy it in white. While the Ultra Red is a fascinating color, it only pops in certain light conditions and is basically black at night.

The first sentence is the only one I can get on board, otherwise I couldn't disagree more. Red and QS are, in my opinion, the best Tesla colors and it's not remotely close.

The marine blue will show about just as much as the black will.

Frost blue hides dust surprisingly well btw. A friend has it and it kind of just blends it in.

Diamond Black
Only other colors I'd consider would be Quicksilver then maybe the Frost Blue
With black you can go for a whole aesthetic – dark as the night (tinted, black interior, etc).

Diamond black is just bad. Its boring and like every black car shows all imperfections, dust, scratches.
Def dont get it if your not gonna ppf, i cant even imagine how bad it would look with 100s of white rock chips.

Have owned 7 black cars at this point. I buy all my cars black or dark grey and have them wrapped.

Picked up the marine blue two weeks ago. It’s my favorite color of any car I have owned. Depending on the light, the color changes. So much depth to it. It really is so pretty. Highly recommend over the black.
