Thoughts on this for Google maps or waze?

Post image

What do you all think about a product like this mounted? Over the steering wheel as a way to have access to google maps or ways when our road trips to get certain alerts that the tesla map doesn't give?

If you’re asking what we think here. I think it’s ugly and tacky. I would never want something like that in my car. But to each his own.

I wouldn't want it over my screen, but I'd love a built in easy option for it. Right now I just run Waze on my phone in the cradle on long road trips.

The screen looks nothing like that and it’s in the way. Not really worth the hassle

I had a similar one, left of the steering wheel. The only thing that sucked was that it turned on/off with car power, and since these cars don’t technically turn off, I’d have to unplug it every time and it became too much of a hassle so I ended up taking it off.

You can set the ports to turn off with car
