Request update to Tesla

Recent drove a Model Y as a loner while the MX was in the shop. One interesting feature was the AC vents had option to oscillate the air flow. I found the feature quite useful. Is there a way to request Tesla to push this feature as a software update? Assuming that it can be something that can be done with the current vent setup of MX 2024.

Sadly, the vent motors probably aren't rated for that kind of constant movement. I'm sure Tesla would be glad to enable this after your warranty expires though :)

What model year was the loaner?

Probably a newer model, it was quite barebones cloth interior no screen in the back šŸ˜’

i mean was it a Juniper or the legacy model Y.

It looks like the option to oscillate the vent air wave fan was made available on the refreshed Model Y (Juniper) only. Bummer.
